Everything is still but running
An inhalation, an aching tomb
In a cave water drips
no words come from trembling lips
A million years go by and i barely blink
I've thought all the thoughts there is to think
stalagtites inch down from the ceiling
but they crumble where I do not
I've finished every mental battle I ever could have fought
Every moment passes
without change
Every second is precious
yet all the same
a steady beat but no one hears
indefinitely there is nothing to fear
forever i am floating here
colors transverse upon the walls
beaming rays, ancestors call
Forests die, the virus grows
i watch the endless pictures show
i see it coming, but no one knows
I uncover blind eyes and hidden foes
i have waited eternity here in the black depth
watching cloned life and advancing death
an exclamation, a single breath
projections of arrows pass
a dying tide, seconds last
a heart beats in the deep
a perpetual witness, an infinite seed
