An Illusion

It was the tenth month of the year,

two thousand and four,

midnight of the nineteenth day.

When the outside darkness was being slain.

It’s just me. Alone on a calm room.

Facing a small window of technology,

A mere stranger brought back the energy.

Caught a huge part of my attention.

Afterwards became an inspiration.

Every quiet night was ours.

We talked until the deepest tick of hour.

Then one night, I laid my hidden cards.

Together, we played a secret game.

Thinking that you also felt the same.

Because the moment I first saw you,

you make me believe that love is true.

Destiny brought us together.

But time took us apart.

Now still wondering the truth behind.

Hate to say, you’re still on my mind.

Did you miss me?

Are you missing someone like me?

Will you ever miss me?

Is there a time that you felt what I felt?

Please don’t let this pure solid heart melt,

’Coz you, you’re just nothing. ---

But a portion of the computer screen

which love can not,

and will not begin.
