Pilgrimages of the Soul As you travel through life,
I'll not wish a smooth or easy road.
It's in the encountering of bumps
where we gain our strength and learn
what we need to know.
So this, instead, is my wish for you:
May your journey be interesting,
detours enlightening,
companions amicable,
your journey long,
roadblocks few,
and storms traveled through
followed by skies of blue.
WOW!!!!!! I loved your poem, it reminds me what I am going through in my life. I want to be a good writer, but I guess I don't seem to have the talent. My poems are not all that great, but I guess someday they will be..Loved this poem b/c I related to it very much. Keep on writing excellent.. Good Luck.
