Turn the other cheek, but remember...you only have two cheeks. When violence does not reject you, what then? Death before violence (defense). A utopian point of view that if all held that view we would have a better world. Since it is not a better world, we need these "mercenaries" to prevent evil from killing all the good folks like yourself, even though those that share your views don't appreciate it when the "Mercenaries" prevent the evil men from sending, those who share your views, spirits to heaven. These "mercenaries" probably hate going in harms way as much as we hate them to be there, but they have a higher calling...to protect the good and the righteous of the world.
