His Place in my Heart

In my heart there is a place for him,

which I hold to still.

But now it lies cold and empty,

this place I held him in.

Through the day we would speak,

until the stars lite up the sky.

Thenwe'd rest and speak some more.

With that the day and begun and ended.

When the stars had lite the sky

once again, we spoke.

And with that, the stars had brought us to gether,

and our souls had intertwined.

But now with his departure from my life,

I lie withered and cold.

Tears, the reamins of my dried up soul*,

are what have been brought to me.

In my heart he held a special place,

which I search for still.

For it grew cold and empty,

this place I held him in.
