Dear God,



Thank You for the gift of life

You made me Your child

So You can love me more.



Thank You for the gift of purpose

You made me alive

So I can bring You glory.



Your love is so amazing,

It touches my whole being.

In my weakness and imperfections,

You still look after me

Like I am the only person that matters

So dear, You bring me closer to Your heart.



I want to know You more...

I want to love You more...

But I guess I am still holding back,

I am afraid because I don't know how.



You see, I am writing today for you, O Lord.

In this way I hope to make You smile.

Cause it's the only way I can think of right now

As you teach me how to grow in Your love.
