IF ONLY YOU KNEW?

If I could just tell you,

But I cannot,

You are in you own path,

A path I wish mine crossed,

Cause I need you.

If only you knew.

I hate my path,

I chose it,

I will walk it,

I will bear its

Burden.

It is rather large though.

I could use your hands,

Your voice,

Your comforting words,

But you are on a path,

That I cannot return too.

If I could tell you,

How to stay I would,

But you will leave it one day too,

And you will know the weight

Of pain.

The hurt of agony.

The sadness of dismay.

If only you knew.

If only you knew, what was in store,

End it now, because it just hurts

More to end it later.

Stay there,

Stop in your tracks,

Just sit in you path.

Smile,

Enjoy the bliss of company,

Because when the familiar is

Gone, you will know.

But you do not have to find out.

Just sit there.

Just stop in time.

I wish no one this pain.

It is too intense,

I will carry it to the grave,

To keep you

From carrying it as well.

I can end it now.

Get out early.

I don?t want another hand,

Keep your cards,

I lost everything on the last one.

I have nothing left lose.

I am nothing.

I am broken.

There is only one cure,

Only one for such a misery,

A misery that I alone hold.
