I Want To Be Strong

The clouds are dark and gloomy.

The sky is weeping silently.

The air is still and humid.

I am sitting here alone.

No, not alone.

Mother nature is by my side,

Sharing my innermost thoughts.

Her face reflects the heaviness in my heart.

She is shedding the tears I am withholding.

Her arms hold me to provide some comfort.

Sunshine comes after the rain, casting shadows.

I want the sun to shine on my face.

I want the fluid that blurs my vision to evaporate.

But I just can't stop the first teardrop wetting my face.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This was written progressively, as I was alone in school, feeling stressed and depressed. The rain came, followed just about 10 mins later by the evening sun.
