Dont let them tell you
What you have to use
Dont let them tell you
That you cant choose
Time is wasted as
Everyday goes by
Dont hand over your wings
And choose not to fly
Dont close the door
And then let it lock
Cuz your pride wont allow you
Too walk back up an knock
As one oppurtunity ends
Another one chooses to begin
After one door is closed
Another opens with the wind.
So yes chances do sometimes
Come with family and go with friends
But all these comings and goings
Show our chances never end.
Oppurtunity is always there
You just have to know where to look
It can reside in the eyes of a friend
Or be hidden in the cover of a book.
So open your heart to everyone
And dont be afraid of what may come
Because theres going to be happiness
And yes pain or sorrow there is some.
But with this pain or sorrow
Comes yet another wanted open door
There allowing you to teach and
Help others to understand chances more.
Take these chances when your allowed
Dont pass one up out of any fear
Because when you life comes to an end
You'll know you lived for every year.
And took the chances that were there
And never let one single door slip by
Finally you chose to keep those wings
And leave this earth to kiss the sky.
