The fan blows soft mimics of the galactic outside world.
Inside has its own name and ability to reserve its own quiet space.
I sit on the verge of two worlds.

Rain escapes through the open- hinged window. Our relationship is one of sharing and openness. It does not judge and nor do I, even though the sun is shining over the roof. I feel no pain, amidst the relentlessness of the falling rain.

One droplet slides down the glass and the translucence it displays would take your breath away. There should be a rainbow but all I see are flirtatious clouds.

A new day is dawning.
