I love how they don't listen
until it's far too late
I love how they don't care to regret
until they want to appreciate
I love how they never listened
to a word I had to say
and they never let the truth be known
until they walked away
Everything I warned them of
such as how to play the game
used my own moves to shoot me down
and made me take the blame
I love how trust comes into play
they had none all along
and I thoughtI could trust my own students
but, boy they proved me wrong
I love how I wanted them to remember me
for teaching them so much
but, wow did they teach me a lesson
they have that Roxanne touch
