the tear that falls from my face

leads the world to a better place

you've taken me to many a world

yet forgotten that i was your girl

traveling far into the distance

taking the road of least resistance

leaving me, trailing behind

putting me into the back of your mind

I'll scream and cry, but still i don't exist

there are just so many smiles, I've missed

I've traveled to your island many moons ago

i bleed for you to hold me so

there's a place where my blood will never be shed

a place where hurtful words wont be said

a place where hard times i can't think of

and my heart is complete with a spirit of love

an angel has taken me to a place so far

a place where i need not wish upon a star

this place exists in my heart and mind

a place that's so terribly hard to find

I'm happy here.. away I shall not go

there's no other place.. An angel wants to know.
