A cliche poem I wrote after reading a book by C.S. Lewis

Deep inside her hides
Yellowed letters to no one
Restless demons with no pride
A forbidden box of fun
An empty candid smile
Eyes as clear as glass
She begs you to stay a while
"We should enjoy it while it last"

GOT Cliche From Within

.

So, a dragon for certainty

that walking out of the fire

was fun. Maybe tomorrow

I'll grow into a queen

of the world and mourn

the loss of dragons.

.

Everyone I loved as a boy

is gone, killed by my enemies.

King was never my goal,

thrones as games never

my favorite entertainment.
