When you walk by

Folder:
Love

I see you in the hallways
and you look as you walk past
Our eyes meet for just a second
and I wish that it could last

You look at me directly
and I know I'm in your head,
if only all your feelings
you just came out and said

Everytime I walk by,
I know I break your heart
But it's not only hurting you,
because its tearing me apart

I'll live my life in wonder,
not knowing what could be
Because way back in highschool,
We were to blind to see

Theres a future out there for me
and what if your not there?
Why do I get these feelings,
when you walk by with a stare?

What if this is in my head,
and you dont even have a clue,
You dont even understand,
How much that I like you.

OK,
So I'm one of those backwards asses that start from the back of the magazine to the front and from the Z's to A's in the Blockbuster isles (this deliciously pisses everyone in the crowd off). So, as I browse todays new poetry, I, of course, started on "Your eyes" first and just landed on this one. So, my comment here won't make sense until you read the other first.

nibble nibble nibble...I smack my lips, licking them in anticipation for another spattering...Another crumb please? (Said with a face splitting cheshire smile)

Isn't this a great way to get everyone else reading this to read "Your eyes" also - as if you needed help
(In an Elvis accent I say to my all my fans out there in PostPoems land : "Thenk yah, Thenk yah vara much)
