Thank You
I realize that He does love me
And has protected me alot
Many times I should not live
He brought me from the very brink
And gave another try
He has taken away from me one I held dear
And shown me His Light
I now Know for me it was best
I would have had to face a life of dread
had He not left me broken
He saw for me what I myself could not see
While love blnded my eyes and halted my thought
Although I resisted Guidance He did give
Although I wished not to think
And even relished life within a lie
I thank Him for not abandoning me and staying so near
however much I put up a stubborn fight
He pushed me through m trial and test
And forced me to reclaim myself,heart and head
So I could hear a voice I denied then, but now acknowledge when Spoken.
This is a beautiful poem. It expresses what so many think and feel, but cannot find the words to say.
