use your imagination

i imagine her
drawing or painting
her hair sparkling in the noon sun
her eyes alive and curious and wild
dancing as she creates
images of beauty and feeling
all at the same time
thinking of me
happy too
i imagine her
being real
like the magic that binds us in love
can only be seen by those with pure hearts
and it looks like light
and rainbows and electricity
and is warm and feels so good you hold on with all you have
i imagine we never want to let go
that we understand what we have to do
i imagine her
imagining the same things at the same time
like we are archetypes of time and creation
like our whims rule the outcomes ultimately
like only we know
i imagine we have secrets
about balance
about things i cannot say here
about everything infinitely
i imagine her
wondering when like i do
when we will be together
wondering how like i do
how we will find each other
i imagine that she needs me too
i imagine her
i imagine her writing heart songs
hoping i can hear
but i don't hear anything
except my imagination

This poem with all

the heartfelt cry of a lover in anguish. Is waht I emphasize on when reading poems as uninhibited structures —overlooking extra-stylistic contemplations such as the author’s meanings it is impossible for me to say anything other than this poem is amazing. The poem is a microcosm of the emotional world of love and longing in which we live.

Peace

Dyaln
