Redundant
At this point, it's getting redundant
So repetitive
Feels like I've taken this pill before
It's a sedative
Numbing myself to everything and everybody around
The sound of their voice is silent
The black of the sky is vibrant
I can see myself in the darkness
A silhouette in black
I forget that I'm heartless
And there's no turning back
I lack emotion
Yet I feel empathy
Kind of ironic
I'm as deep as the ocean
Yet I feel empty
Half Full
.
Empty is full of air
so one is ever fully void
only filled totally
with potential
and a heaping mound
of expectation.
.
Imperfect is flawed
like a human, spoiled
by interaction
that maims the voice
and activity with
error.
.
Half full happens when
the body fails and the mind
recedes to a place
where silence rules
and memories lapse
into redundancy.
