I fell in love once and that was it

I promised myself - Never again

It took me years to fall again

Seconds passed and that was it. 

Time stretched and convulsed

in ways unknown, you must know

I became you and you became me

I was no longer frightened.

Hearts were played with and shattered

in ways I had not quite seen before

I wish we had not done this to each other

our hearts were already tattered.
