I heard a knock at the door today
But I didn't open up.
I just laid on the floor
And counted the tiles on the ceiling.

Short, simple, but leaves the reader wondering:
"Was she hurt?"
"Is she depressed?"
"Was she slowly succumbing to her death?"
"Simply bored, and too lazy to move?"
