You make my days seem like heaven

And my nights filled with dreams

You are closer to my heart

Than I’ve ever before seen

You’re the brightest spark

In my doom and gloom day

And I wrote you this poem

So I could hopefully say

You make my world so much better

Just be being with me

And I hope that in time

We can be happy as “we”

I know distance sucks

But I know that its right

And I just want you to know
