The ones we dreamed up
in our heads

really happened
No, not them
The ones, mixed
with truths
and fantasy
We cannot relive
the past
only altered versions
and none of it
is real
it's like a reel
a movie
we don't have to
watch it
changing the channel
is an option
though, you can
always put the movie
back in
but it won't play the same
It never does
it rewrites the versions
We are twisted
looking back
at a place
like that
Hoping to relive
a moment
we forget
about
the present
But the past created the present
I can see how it all connects
it's a journey
there's use in looking back
to go forward
Recreating The Past

Head noise? Good to know I'm not the only one with those other voices and sounds echoing inside.

i don't know why they gotta be all loud and stuff all the time.
but then again i don't really mind so much when they are
because when i asked them to be quieter
and they respected my request,
i started to miss them.
They still there.
Telling grand stories in my inner ears.
sometimes i wish i could capture every verse.
