"The clock is ticking"

Folder:
deep and down

The clock is ticking it nevers stops

each moment I am older.

My mind is going pop pop,

like a lollypop at the candy shop.

I need my space my only place

that i can call my own,

where there is my only face.

The clock is ticking it never stops

each moment I am older.

I have so many dreams

and yet it only seems,

the highlight of my beams.

To only see the dreams thats all they are,

I'm sitting in the passenger seat of the car.

The clock is ticking it never stops

each moment I am older.

I have never did what I needed to,

I was to busy taking care of all of you.

You never saw my dreams,

now it's all it seems.

The clock is ticking it never stops

each moment I am older.

Now I shut the gate, there is no fate,

time has run out it's to late.

Wow, same theme, check out my Tickin Away poem...I wrote it one way at first and then changed the words to fit the music when I fell into a band ages ago...anyways, it is something how we have similar thoughts and themes...we need to check out each other's poetry more often I guess and support each other's creativity. I am really glad you commented on a couple of mine that led me to check out yours cuz what I have read so far is really good...thanks,Pam

I liked the familiarity of this poem, I can really relate at this point in my life. I wouldn't need much else if I just had more time.
