We all have a life to live.

We all have purpose to give.

Whatever the way and whatever the day,

we all need to take the time to pray.

The Lord is our teacher, you see.

He came to be with you and he came to be with me.

He really never left us to be alone,

he's a phone call away, it's written in stone.

The lord wants us to talk with him.

to listen to him from within.

To speak with knowledge, to feel with heart.

Not to be distance or be apart.

The Lord wants us to act in faith and love,

like the bird of a feather, the purity of a white

turtle dove.

He see us in our wrongs and acknowedges us

in our goods.

He directs us in our paths but he leaves the choice

in our hoods.

Whatever we do and whatever we don't.

The Lord is there to take your hand and teach

you on your way to the place of glory, the promised land.

So know your not alone anymore.

The Lord will be with you forever more.
