Lovey Dovey It's hard to believe that we have stayed together
when I first met you, you seemed too good to be true
I want us to stay in love with eachother forever
and I'm sorry if sometimes what I say gets to you
You mean the world to me and I don't want to lose what we have
Although sometimes it seems as though we confuse one another
you have a way of making me happy and your little ways of making me laugh
I know we can get through anything because we are strong together
I know I think too much and sometimes overdramatize things
but when I hold you it all seems okay
I love you for the way you can understand me
and how you can touch me that certain way
I'm so happy that we have stayed together
because no one could make me happy like you do
and I know that we can last forever
even if you are too good to be true
at first glance it sounds like a love poem, but now that ive read it for maybe... i dunno the 5th or 6th time, it kinda struck me that this poem isnt very loving. its like... i love you but youre too good to be true like in the last line. like you are trying too hard to find happiness, or clinging to some past memory. i dont know maybe its just me, maybe you did it inadvertently. either way, its good
