I see through a determined mind

I try to catch up

but I'm always a step behind

I try to pretend that I'm someone I'm not

I keep running and running

and suddenly I stop

Bracing my word when I held onto you

If I loved first what would you try to do

I broke into your book

I found your secret

After I took one look

now I regret it

Ever being by your side

Talking softly in your ear

All of the times I cried

Because of one falling tear

Now you said it once

that you really loved me

as i looked into your eyes

this is not what I could see

Between you and I

we felt one way different

as I leaned over to cry

I woke up in a trance

A feeling I've never felt

Now I'm very far

I thought I needed help

For finding a true love is hard

I looked beyond myself

to search in your heart

so soon as I find

This path is now a start

When I'm really sad

I live my life in sorrow

everything I once had

will be gone again tomorrow
