She gains way into my sight
The eyes begin to stutter

flowing like glass,
breaking like water.

advancing into perpetual ebony

My Equilibrium,
Dismayed,
paralyzed and frozen.

Begin to fall
wings lack proper competance
I am failing fast

the drag of wind beneath me,
engulfed

Face embrases pavement.

The heart must resume to walk

still,

Her unerving presence

swallows my every step

My shadow walks never alone
