Dan the Lion
I am not—
no, I am not—
A weed upon
your garden plot.
I'm a healthy green,
my roots are for tea,
cleansing your belly
when it won't agree.
My flower is yellow—
I'm good in a salad,
or in a bouquet
to brighten its color.
When I go dande,
my seeds fly like candy.
Wishes come true,
with my lion seeds landing.
Dan the Lion.
Loved your poem it's rhyming so clear and fine brought a smile to my face. It's good to know those herbs and flowers are still thriving.
Great poem, ground.
