what happened?
why are you crying?

he used to be better with his lies?
fuck that, its been a habit
got lipstick all over his ties
got perfume on his jackets
he didn't even try to hide it
got his trouble back to paradise
don't roll your eyes
sit up straight
we're all grown ups
now leave that shit aside

time heals every wound
and wounds heal every time

you know he's not your better you
you're everything he's not
so sleep baby sleep

what you see is what you get
and when one thing falls apart
everything falls apart
so call Dr. Charles or maybe Dr. Wilma
hell call superman , that won't help ya

cause he'll be biting his lips
sleeping with people's daughters
he'll be holding them from the hips
he'll be spending your vouchers
they'll show him their impatience with buttons
they'll ask for more, and there's more comin
he'll come back late
he'll come back in the mornings
he'll come back with love bites
he'll see past the warnings
he'll never know that you were crying
he'll never know that you were trying
he'll forget to kiss you goodnight
he'll forget to call you back
he'll even forget your birthday
and you'll be loosing your track

might as well stand in line
so call to arms
you've gotta win this war
a war for all the sorries and the last times

get yourself out of that corner
pick up your dignity and dust off your pride
hold still till time takes over
till you know the worst has passed
he'll be coming back begging
maybe a million times, that depends
