Lord, thank you for the life

In the way that

You taught us to live,

Thank you for your presence

And for all the blessings you give:



The food we eat;

The fresh air we breathe

The rain that quench the drought and thirst;

A home for us you keep a safe place to dwell.



A family that prays and stays together;

Friends for fellowship that gather;

Church and community that care;

Truth that serves a pillar of our strength;



Bless the weather that guides the season;

Bless us with wisdom to watch our every action.



Please handle our depression;

Vanquish our frustration;

Yield us not to temptation;

Lead us to the promise of salvation.



We pray for the healing and forgiveness;

We beseech your merciful kindness;

Let us learn to live in peace;

And comprehend your heavenly grace.



Make us your humble servant;

As we serve one another;

Make us a cheerful giver;

With patience, we lend our heart and hand.



Kindly mould our good character;

And set some fine attributes we can share;

We are in dire need of your love,

We seek this gift from above.



Let us dream dreams

And see the vision of tomorrow.



So we may abide with faith;

And uphold our belief that

All great things from the small things come;

Your righteousness shall reign forevermore. Amen.
