Motherhood begins from conception

Of the unborn child she carries for nine

Gestational period of waiting

Until the foetus will fully develop

Into a complete human anatomy

Embedded with soul and spirit

Upon birth, it becomes the darling of the world.



Motherhood calls for a great sacrifice.

All her earthly freedoms ceased

That she may set her maternal focus

In nurturing her newborn child;

And, mould her in a warm, caring and loving

Environment of cosy homely atmosphere;

To keep her safe and sound, away from harm.



Motherhood is the greatest gift that comes from above.

The privilege given by God to bear inheritance

Of the name chosen to subdue the earth

According to his plan and purpose to prevail.

Motherhood is a vocation made in heaven

A duty to provide spiritual guidance to her fruits

That they may live a long life in peace and prosperity.
