To ride the rainbow high and fly to you,

I need God to keep it steady, for He knows

I am feeble and I need His strength

To make my journey safe whatever its length.



I cannot make you a perfect rainbow

Out of Sun and Rain;

‘Tis God alone who’ll make it for you

He’ll take away your fear and pain,

As He, takes mine away.



My skipper and keeper of my soul;

The one who truly cares for me;

We’ll both fly; we’ll both ride;

Together, we’ll watch, side by side,

The Rainbow appearing in the sky.



There we see our true reflections flashing,

The purest seeds of love we’ve sown are growing;

They bind our souls and make our hearts one;

You and I will never ever be alone,

As we cross the land, and ride the seas,

Our Rainbow will take us through the day!
