I got on the plane

and left the town I knew for so long

I took a chance on us

because I knew it was not wrong



Yet here I am back in the town where I grew up

With all the same pain as before

Being there with you helped me survive

So why did I ever walk out the door?



I should have fought to stay

Encouraged you to go for your dreams

Stood beside you always,

because to me you mean everything



I am fighting all these emotions,

All mixed up and torn inside

If I ever really lost you,

I would surely die



So please come back to me

Do not ever let us end

Say we will always be together

but please do not pretend



I would get back on the plane

Take a bus to anywhere

Go to the ends of this earth,

As long as I find you there
