Help me make it through the night

Though it is dark and scary

With the lack of light





Hopeless Heart,

Help me make it through the day

Though I see no reason

Make me see that is okay

Help me to make it through the week

Though my will to fight has been flushed

and I am feeling so bleak





Hopeless Heart,

Help me make it through the winter

Though it is long and cold

and there is nothing warm to hold onto when everything is so bitter

Help me make it through the new year

Though it is just another miserable day

and there is no sign of things becoming any clearer

Though it is no miracle if I do,

I am just not sure if I can
