It's the way you don't want me to leave

and how because of you I wear my heart on my sleeve



It's the way that I continue to fall so fast

and how I hope that this feeling can last



It's the way that I feel so comfortable around you

and how I can say what I want and do what I want to do



It's the way that you are so honest even though you are scared what I will think

and how for once my heart does not feel like a sinking ship on the brink



It's the way your heart is attaching to mine

and how you would like to touch every scar and trace every line



It's the way that I want to touch you too

and how I am so glad that I have found you



It's the way that you make me feel like I matter

and how even though all your thoughts aren't the nicest and I still feel flattered



It's the way you take away the pain

and how I want to kiss you under the stars in the rain



Oh and it's the way you don't want me to leave
