I know you'd hate to see me hurting

You ask me to stay strong

Thats not something I can do right now

Its gonna take some time to heal

We didnt want it to come to this

but that is the way things happened

I dont know whether to laugh in denial

or cry those tears of pain

I would like to dance again,

but here there is no rain

Were things too good to be true?

Did we miss something along the way?

Questions gone unanswered

Wants and wishes gone unheard

This time here tonight,

without you seems so absurd

Just over a month ago, I was safe in your arms

Now here I am completely without you

and no one undertands the harm
