and when you say our dreams together will come true
but you make it hard to believe
When instead of choosing to stay you chose to leave
There are things I would like to believe
That you would forever love me
but I am still waiting
and that makes it harder to believe in eternity
There are things I would like to believe
Strong commitment that will never break
because if it ever were to
my heart would endlessly ache
There are things I would like to believe
Like you would never hurt me
but that may never happen
that is like to never be
There are things I would like to believe
Like you will be back again
perhaps erase the pain
and start over where we began
