You make me want to fly

As if I could on angels wings

You wipe away my tears when I cry

and promise a life full of brighter things



and when I am down and weary

You give me your hand to hold

You are the one in my heart

The one with whom I would love to grow old



You make it so I can feel at ease

and that for once I could live just the way I am

I have finally found the one for whom I would walk the seven seas

and I know you will always be there where I stand



You make my heart feel so light

As if it were a feather

You are there to help me make it through the night

and I will never forget the times we have had together



You hold me so gently and rush away every fear

Never have I felt this way inside before

It is so great to finally hold you near

and ever every moment together I continue longing for more



You turn everything horrendous into something so beautiful

Never did I think I could love someone so much

You have helped me heal my soul

but I would die inside without your touch
