I wanted you to always be the holder of my heart
But so suddenly the spark of love can die
and it don't even matter how hard you try
You can't erase the hurt, cannot sooth the pain
It burns inside forever, like an eternal flame
Never did I cry so much than when I lost you
That was the deepest pain that I have ever been through
If only I could go back in time and fix what we lost
But I wonder if that were possible, what would be the cost
Never did I mean for things to go this way
I thought our love was right and that it was meant to stay
But things that seem right can still be so wrong
But we don't have to be weak, we can stay strong
Never did I paln for our love to end,
Thought together we could help the broken pieces mend
So suddenly the spark of love can die
and it don't matter how hard you try
