That no matter what, Together we could survive
So why did I let you go just because of fear
There is not a day I don't wish that you were here
I tried to get you back into my heart
but you said it is best that we are apart
I never felt a pain that hurt so bad
Nor was I ever this sorrowful and sad
I have given up on love because it all ends
Lovers turn into strangers, never going back to being friends
I regret that I let you go
I am sorry, I hope you know
They say all you need is love, but that is not quite true
There are other necessities or you will never make it through
The world is filled with all these silly long songs that don't mean a thing
Except for the pain and hassle they always bring
Its quite a crazy thing...
