Now I will never know what it feels like

To see you smile or hold  your hand

To walk with you under the moonlight

or be able to walk by your side with a safe place to land



Now I will never know how true love feels

I will never see it shine and know it is real

We will never dance together to our song

and never know a love that its power is just too strong



Now I will never know how to give someone my heart

because all I have learned from you is how to tear it apart

I will never know how to really smile again

Except when I am indulging in my favourite sin



Now I will never know what unconditional love is

because I threw it away

If only I would not have taken it for granted

Maybe life would be okay



Now I will never know true happiness

because I threw out our own little bliss

I never should have ran away so fast

but I was overwhelmed with the baggage of my past



Now I will never know what it is liek to look up to the sky and thank every star

Every love I have ever know is just away too far

I will never be able to hold you close

and feel lucky because I was the one you chose
