I tried to run away

Before you could catch me

Tried to run so far away

So you could not fall for me

but you fell,

so hard

What did I do,

Let down my guard



I watched the lights

Change from green to red

But you still chased me

Till I was too far ahead





I was closed off,

Locked away

but you still watned all I had

After all the misery

Said you loved me so much,

So bad

I had to look away,

Not to see you so sad



I could not bare to see

All of your tears

They could do nothing,

Except bring more fears



I kept running,

as fast as I could

Running as far

As I thought I should

Still you fell harder than I imagined

Stronger than I ever could  have desired in a vision



Still I must keep running

Before I fall too deep

That is a big jump

and I am not ready to take the leap



SO I must keep running
