You were everything to me

Everything I had to look forward to was in your arms,
but now there is not even your arms to hope for
You said goodbye when I needed you the most
You changed my life,
You were there by my side when I almost gave up
How can I get over you-
when you saved my life by loving me?
Life is not fair!
I never wanted to let you go
I loved you with everything I had
Now all I can do is cry and feel sad
Closing off all hope for any future happiness
I will never find bliss without you in my arms
Please tell me that this is not true!
It still feels like a dream
I open my eyes to only a reality that goes in without you there
Why did you have to say goodbye
I miss you so much and I am not sure I can cope
Do not come back around and beg my broken heart to bleed
You said goodbye, because that is what you thought you needed
