We said goodbye, the reason I still cannot remember

All I can recall is the pain of our broken promises of forever

We has so many dreams and plans

That now today, are last forever in the sorrows quicksand



Do you even remember me, all we felt, all we shared

I still cannot believe that you thought leaving me was destiny

You were my love, my very best friend

You ripped me apart, unable to ever mend



You cannot just break me, then walk away

What for yourself, do you have to say

You were never detrimental

All I wanted to do was help you



The fire died, the ashes flew

We let go to find something brand new

You find a new love- you find her

I found pain, still havent found a cure



I hope you are now happy, wherever you are

No matter how near or how far

The stars still shine, the world goes on

I still survive even though you are gone



Although you found her

and I havent found my cure

I'll find it soon, perhaps

If only I could be sure
