We had dreams and plans that were meant to fly

They were supposed to lift off high in the sky

Never did I mean to let it die

I tried to fix our broken plans,

I really did try...



Our love was supposed to last forever

We had dreams and plans of spending eternity together

But here alone we sit and cry

We tried to hold on to the hope,

At least I tried...



Everything feels like a horrible dream

When I realize I am alone I scream

When I wake and you are not there, it hurts so much, I would rather have died

I tried to fix what was broken,

I really tried...



how could we ever say goodbye

Our love seemed so perfect, that is no lie

Two weary, broken souls, just getting by

We tried to make it last,

At least I tried...



and now that I am without you there is no reason to go on

I know I will never be able to love again

All I can do in life is cry
