I'll close my eyes and sleep in peace

I'll rest still for once

Instead of laying restlessly all through the nite

Tossing and turning won't happen for once

Because there will be no worrying

because I know our meeting will soon be here

I will close my eyes and picture it near

Instead of looking into the sun and wishing you were here

I will close my eyes and drift off into a peaceful slumber

And I won't be bothered,

No not ever with the thunder

I'll close my eyes and finally be able to dream

Because our love can never die

There is no more need

to wake in the middle of the night

and cry
