and he was just sitting
waiting for the train
today he was leaving town
she was 16 going on 17
and in love with the boy
but he was off to bigger and better things
so before he left he decided to break things off, besides long distance relationships never work
and then he went on his way
she just sat there and stared off into space
why did he have to go?
now this girl will never know
what could have been
if only he would have stayed
she could have changed his mind?
