Do you hear it?
Can you hear a sound?
That is the sound of our two hearts
Beating together as one
Beating fast and strong
Like a drum
Can you feel our hearts together?
Beating right in time?
Here is the truth,
My heart is still beating
Because you love me
If you were to ever leave me
The beating would stop
My breathing would slow
Shortly after that I would go
The pain would be too much to bear
I would die without you there
