Too scared to take a chance

too afraid to get in and dance

fleeing the scene of a new chemical romance

you said it yourself,

you trusted me...

I just can't comprehend

that we had to end

why couldn't you give into love

I thought you were sent

to me from up above

now i guess,

we'll never know what could have been

Because you chose to walk away

I was there to wipe your tears

and get rid of your fears,

but i guess my love for you was never enough
