Love never wanted me

Plain and simple

It called my name,

By the time I found love,

It walked away

I walk around all the places I once knew

Hoping to find it,

Hoping it would be you

But around all corners and behind closed doors,

I can never find what I am looking for

The one love in a million,

The one that will stay,

The one that finds out about my baggage

and miserable past

and won't walk away

Is my one true love out there,

Somewhere,

for me to find someday
