The day our love burnt down to flames

Reminding me of all we once shared

and how I was so lucky that you cared



See the stars spell out the words

That you said when you told me that you love me

Always praying the love would never end

Yet we had to let go unfortunately



See the stars spell out the ways

That you led me on

Trying to get inside my head

To make believe that I would miss you when you were gone



See the stars spell out the hurt

That you caused to my heart

Convincing me that the whole thing was my fault

That playing games was my work of art



See the stars spell out your lies

Everytime that you would say goodbye

You would always come back to me

Swearing you have never felt this way before

How goodbye was our fate

I need to move on and clean the slate
